About Farmboy0423

I am looking for advice to fight credit card bills.  I lost my job mid Sept 2008.  Bank of America (BOA) was partly cause by waking me up 2-3 hours after I got home and went to sleep. I was a night worker with handicapped wife (hadicapped for 15 years). Between BOA and my wife, I became a little irritable and was replaced when the summer season ended after Labor Day.  I stayed home and babysitted my grandkids so my daughter-in-law could regain her CNA license after having the latest.  Now I am trying to find work & find a non-scam work at home so I can get back on my feet.  The interest rates and contracts on credit cards are crimminal!  I have never stiffed anyone on any bill, BUT BOA is making it difficult to stick to that.

For those who are interested, I found a website of a lawyer firm in Houston, Texas that fights the credit card industry using current laws on the books against them.   BUT they do cost and require you to come take their course so you don't get yourself in the same situation again.  It is http://www.consumersdefense.com/.  They give a lot of info on the industry.  As soon as I can get  the money to pay them, I will use their services.  Also, got a lot of info from a book call "Debt Cures".  I see Bankrupcy as the only alternative.  I would have already been in bankrupcy IF my son was not paying my utility bills!
